At LÓA NAILS we voluntarily hold ourselves to a long list of verifiable standards. Here is how we strive to make our products as clean as possible:

We commit to dismissing 1,400+ ingredients in our formulations prohibited by European cosmetics regulatory bodies. US bans only 11!!!

The ingredients used to formulate our nail glue have been carefully revieved and individually tested for skin and nail plate sensitivity by 3rd party laboratories and are compliant with EU cosmetic regulatory.

Our non-toxic nail glue is made from the following ingredients:

Cyanoacrylate: A medical-grade adhesive – our superglue that makes your manicure last.​

Polymethyl Methacylate: Acrylic Glass – often used in medical devices and dentist applications known for quick bonding at room temperature.​

BHA: Used widely in cosmetic industry due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

WE ARE ALSO FREE FROM NAIL CARE NASTIES

We formulate 10-FREE. Which means we don't use the following ingredients identified as common nail care nasties: Dibutyl phthalate, TPHP, Toluene, Xylene, Ethyl tosylamide, Camphor, Formaldehyde resin, Parabens, Tert-butyl hydroperoxide. PETA CERTIFIED CRUELTY FREE & VEGAN

From day 1 we are certified cruelty-free and vegan. We believe there is no room for animal testing in making beauty products. At LÓA we firmly believe that innovation doesn't need to come at the price of testing on animals. There are better, non-harming ways to test our ingredients safely that 100% eliminate the need to harm our fluffy friends. 

NAILS MADE OF RECYCLED PLASTIC

We are the first press-on nail brand to use recycled plastic transparently in press-on nails!

Our falsies are made of 94% recycled ABS plastic (same as lego cubes if you ever wondered) and 6% of virgin plastic to ensure top quality!

And we don't stop here, besides being recyled we are also certified plastic neutral!

For every manicure made we remove equal amount of plastic from the environment!

Together with Plastic Credit Exchange we have already recovered, processed and repurposed ONE METRIC TON of plastic waste = 2.4 million plastic straws.

DON'T DISPOSE YET, REUSE!

If you are not too hard on your hands,your falsies will be perfectly good for another round of application after removal. Shape the tips with scissors, clippers or nail file, remove the nail residue by gently buffing it off, tap them with rubbing alcohol to remove any nasties and they will be good as new! If they are ready to be disposed, make sure to follow these recycling tips to minimise the impact on the planet.

- Pet trays are recyclable through majority of local recycling programs
- Carton boxes are widely recyclable through local recycling programs
- Nail glue and press-on nails are too small to be re-cycled. Please always dispose the glue and used nails into a household bin.
